julia’s junction inclusive playground – west kelowna bc

Over $900,000 was raised by a local parent to build Julia’s Junction; West Kelowna’s FIRST fully inclusive playground.

The design includes a combination of play activities where nobody is excluded from play as a result of their disability. Caregivers with disabilities feel comfortable visiting with their children and children of all ages and abilities can play together. The artificial turf makes for comfortable surfacing when crawling on hands and knees or resting and watching the other kids play.

Watch the video of kids in action.
